Women in Ministry Convocations

A few years ago during a time of prayer the Lord began to talk to me about doing meetings for women who are in full time ministry both here in the U.S. and in the nations. As I prayed, the Lord began to call it a convocation. Just to be honest, I had to look that word up in the dictionary and found it means “a summoned assembly”. I began to seek Him as to who exactly HE was summoning to these meetings and He confirmed to me that these meetings were for women who ministered the Word to adults on a regular basis.

I love and honor all women who are in ministry to the children, youth, young adults etc. but it seemed that was not who He was summoning to these meetings. They have a different set of needs and problems than do those who minister the word to the adults.

These convocations are an opportunity for me to honor these Women in Ministry for their service to the Lord.  It is 2 to 3 days of intense ministry that will change their lives and refresh and renew them for even greater service to our King!

Preach like a girl!

Whenever someone says you do something "like a girl", it is usually an insult. "You run like a girl" or "You fight like a girl"., etc.. But women are powerful and I am determined to take that phrase back! One of the phrases I use for these Women In Ministry convocations that I have been doing is "Preach like a girl!" So what does it mean to preach like a girl? How do girls preach? 

We preach with great power, unction and anointing of the Holy Spirit!

We preach with demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and with signs, wonders and miracles following!

We preach with honor and integrity and dignity!

We preach with words full of love and kindness!

To preach like a girl is to stand in obedience to your Father and speak what He gives you fearlessly!

It is knowing WHO you are but more importantly WHOSE you are!

That's what it means to preach like a girl.
